Dr Rahman is a Board Certified Psychiatrist in practice for over 30 years. After graduating from Darbhanga Medical College in India, he did his Internships and House Job in England over the next 2 years. Subsequently, he did a Psychiatry Residency at Brown University, where he also taught at the Medical School for the following 15 years. He also conducted Academic & Commercial Research. Dr Rahman has been with the Renascence Center since 2006 and works with a variety of psychiatric conditions, working in conjunction with our Therapists.

“I am a Board certified Adult psychiatrist with over thirty years experience in treating a variety of psychiatric conditions. I work closely with therapists to provide the best care for my clients. After medical school, I did my residency at Brown University Medical School, where I was then on the faculty for fifteen years. I have been in practice at The Renascence Center, Arlington for over fifteen years. I have also participated in research developing new medications. Some areas of interest include, but are not limited to Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, Treatment Resistant Depression, Anxiety and Panic Disorders. I grew up in India and have traveled extensively, giving me a global perspective which I find helpful in my practice. Reading, chess, cooking and travel are some of my extra curricular interests.”
